NOW INTERVIEWING
The Spring session of Audition Technique begins on
Wednesday, April 5th, 2017
Great for mastering the audition process

In Scott Sedita’s signature class, Audition Technique, every class is an audition.

Actors continue to learn how to integrate their own essence into every character, incorporate “adjustments” into every audition, as well as overcome obstacles and fears in their craft and career.

Each week, actors are assigned roles and emailed audition sides from various dramatic TV & film genres (procedural, medical, supernatural, etc.). Actors are then required to use Scott Sedita’s script analysis technique, W.O.F.R.A.I.M. (Wants, Obstacles, Feelings, Relationships, As-Ifs, Intentions, Moments Before) and prepare their audition sides for that week’s class.

Actors work at least twice a class, auditioning on-camera with a reader and receiving coaching, adjustments, feedback and critique from the teachers.

Audition Technique focuses on guest-star, series-regular and lead roles, as well as how to win the room and tackle producer callback sessions.

This class continues to empower the actor by giving them the knowledge to successfully market themselves in today’s competitive industry.
