This intermediate class teaches actors how to make strong choices, trust their instincts and bring their full, authentic selves to their work.

On a weekly basis, students practice Scott Sedita’s script analysis technique, W.O.F.R.A.I.M. (Wants, Obstacles, Feelings, Relationships, As-Ifs, Intentions, Moments Before). Moment-to-moment involvement is explored, so that the actor expands their ability to listen and respond, and deepen their emotional work.

Actors are cast accordingly, using current TV and film scripts.

Class assignments alternate between one-on-one audition-style scenes, cold reading and partnered scene work.
